Proud to be supported by local businesses
Carshalton Choral Society gratefully acknowledges the continuing support of Silverman Black estate agents. Simon and the team have supported us for the last two years.
Advertising space is available in our programmes for the 2016/17 concert series and we would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in supporting us. Would you be willing to do one or more of the following:
- display our concert posters in your window?
- purchase concert tickets to offer to your customers/clients?
- buy advertising space in our programmes?
- make a donation?
- offer us support in some other way, e.g. with printing our programmes and publicity, or donating goods or services which we could raffle?

Carshalton Choral Society is a registered charity (no. 262790), funded by the subscriptions of its members and the sale of concert tickets. In a typical season we perform four concerts: two accompanied by a professional orchestra and two accompanied by organ and/or piano. The latter usually break even but the former are always expensive to put on and have to be subsidised by subscriptions income, which also has to cover all our rehearsal costs. More significant projects require additional funding from external sources.
The Society is an amateur group, directed and accompanied by accomplished professional musicians: Philip Collin, our musical director, and Michael Pandya, our accompanist. Under their expert tutelage, we manage to put on concerts of an impressive standard. It is a genuine community organisation, welcoming new singers whatever their experience and making beautiful music accessible to audiences not always familiar with the works beforehand.
